The hot tub worked on Friday night. Did NOT work sat. night. The clerk said she didn't know anything about it. Was never looked at while we were in there. Breakfast was good. The Fri night clerk was awesome. Very helpful when our door key card wouldn't work to let us back in our room, Happened a couple of times. Will definately stay again.

Upgraded and better than ever
This is a great hotel for the price! Their upgrades made the stay so much more comfortable. Beds are soft memory foam and very comfortable, and everything was clean on checkin. The addition of a hotel bar/lounge was a bonus!

I actually didn’t end up staying after seeing the hotel. I’m not fussy - just needed a place to sleep. When I arrived I couldn’t bring myself to stay there - completely run down and lobby didn’t appear clean or welcoming. Turned around and drove to Milwaukee. Unfortunately, the hotel denied a waiver of the cancellation fee. That is within their right, of course.

Hi Edward,I'm sorry for your experience. I am a little confused though, as we have just remodeled our lobby area, as well as the outside of the hotel, both of which have received nothing but positive feedback, certainly not completely rundown. With all due respect, I just want to make sure that you were at the correct hotel as we have recently changed our name after the remodel. I was working that evening and took the call at 8:30pm to cancel the room. We were completely booked full and had previously turned guests away, which is why we unfortunately had to deny the waiver. Again, I am sorry for any frustration the situation may have caused you and wish you the best.

All was good. Patrick, who checked us in, was great and so helpful. The lady in the morning that got breakfast together was helpful also. I just didn’t like that room smelled as though it once was a smoking room. Also, there were no bath towels to take a shower. Odd.

This was the first time staying here. We will definitely be staying here again. They are remodeling the property and they have a nice little bar, fitness room, pool and a nice breakfast in the morning. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

The suite had a headboard that looked like someone dropped white paint on it and the bedside tables were painted black but the paint was chipping off all over, looked tacky! The bar was not open during our stay. There was no hair dryer or pad of paper or pen in the room.

Thank you for your feedback!We take great pride in our full renovation from the addition of more security cameras, updated all guest room locks and all exterior doors for secured entry, renovations from floor to ceiling, wall to wall, roof, siding, beds, mattresses, bedding, bath linens, pool, hot tub, addition of fitness center, bar and currently we are expanding our parking lot. Our brand new bar is open Monday-Saturday at 5pm, sorry we missed you!

Unfortunately, had to cancel our reservation as they were totally remodeling the reception area. The breakfast and pool are currently not available. Patrick and Brittney were very nice. Very understanding. Thank you both. (Would love to see the reception area once they finish the remodel).
