"Hotel Fiume amazing"
Arrived Saturday morning. Check in was speedy and staff very helpfull. Everything about the hotel and staff was excellent and its well situated for sight seeing without being too far out. The complaint I have is the temperature of the room. It was so hot you couldn't breath. No matter what you did to the aircon it made no didference had to sleep with the windo open. If they got that right the hotel would be perfect.

"Great Stay!"
I've stayed at several hotels in Rome over my many trips to the city and my favorite is the Albani Hotel. The staff is very friendly, especially the restaurant staff during the breakfast. The hotel is clean and modern. An exceptional value.

"Clean, comfortable, convenient, and affordable!"
We were very pleased with our stay here, while travelling on a budget. Receptionist gentleman was very helpful after a long flight coming into Rome at midnight. We were given useful information on places to visit, and convenient bus lines. Best of all, the room was nice and spacious, clean and so comfortable! Plus a breakfast buffet each morning.

"Would recommend. Great staff, fantastic location"
The turner hotel is located north from the main train station in Rome. It is easy to get to by bus from the train station ($1.50 euro - buy your ticket from a tabacconist shop or ticket machine at the large bus stop). The trip itself should only take you about 10mins. The reception area is very fancy and new, and the hotel staff are very attentive. The room we stayed in was clean and well kept, although old. But this is typical when travelling anywhere in Europe. As an Aussie traveller, as a tip to avoid disappointment, always deduct a star from any European hotel, and that will give you a better comparison to our Australian hotels. It's only natural as Australia has more space and the buildings are typically newer than our European counterparts. The buffet breakfast had hot food, cold meats, cereal and breads/sweet breads. It was quite comprehensive. Any guest can also make their way to the top floor (via lift to level 6) where you can enjoy a wine in the hotels private courtyard/garden. This was a great hotel, especially for the price we paid! There are also a multitude of great restaurants nearby. Take the time to have a look, as they are the real deal, with great local food and not the tourist trap restaurants in the city centre (i'm looking at you Trevi Fountain)

"Definitely recommended"
Stayed at the Quo Vadis Inn in June 2015. Hotel is located in a residential area 20 minutes walking distance from Termini Train/Bus station and 25 minutes walking distance from Spanish Steps. It's in a residential building where a large apartment was made into a 6-bed B'n'B. At night it's completely quiet. Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Too bad we didn't get to meet Luca as from what we can read in reviews he makes the stay so much better with his insights and help regarding what to do in the city etc. Staff without him tried to help us the best way they could however. Bus stop is 2 minutes away, 4 or 5 restaurants are within 2 minutes of walking, local market and 2 small supermarkets are all about 1 minute from the hotel - very convenient. If you don't need to stay in the city center, this small hotel is the next best thing, so I absolutely recommend it. One thing that wasn't so ideal however was breakfast. We were given coupons to one of the 3 tiny cafes that were close by. When we walked in, all we could get is one not so fresh croissant and coffee. In the cafe that was right next to the hotel, we actually didn't feel all that welcome. On Sunday, the bars were closed. But this was no big deal as everything else about the stay was great.

"Fabulous Staff, Accommodations"
This was a most accommodating hotel! Staff was ultra helpful. Breakfast buffet was wonderful with good selection. They responded quickly and warmly to all requests. Truly one of the best experiences I have had in all of Europe.

"Classical decor and Elegant"
You need to have a cardkey inserted inside the room to activate the lights and a/c. I didn't learn how to set the thermostat and had 2 very warm nights.

"Great hotel at a good price "
Thoroughly enjoyed my 4 nights there. From the moment I walked in the concierge was helpful. Without asking, he gave me map of where the major sites were located and explained how to get around using the train and bus. Short walk to either. The breakfast was good as well. Mattress could have been a little softer but other than that the room was lovely.

"Nice hotel in Rome"
Stayed at the Coppede for four nights while on a visiting trip in Rome. The hotel is clean and well staffed with courteous people. The Restaurant and cafe next door provide excellent food and beverages nearby with courteous and professional staff. The only problem is the lack of an elevator on the hotel which is ok in my case but which may be a setback for aged and sick couples who have to walk up many flight of stairs . I merely saw it as an joyful exercise.

"Great roof terrace. Near the great Borghese grdns"
We wanted a twin bedroom and balcony. We requested this two weeks in advance via email and although they said this wasnt possible upon arrival they had reserved us the only twin with balcony (others are doubles). The balcony was more of a roof terrace on the 7th floor and absolutely great! It has views across the historic city walls and into the centre, and at night the mountains on the horizon are beautifully lit with houses.and t Close to the via veneto which is great, much closer to the centre than you might think. Although it isnt in the centre exactly, Rome is so compact that there's not much difference. We often walked all the way from Trestevere in the far south west, whereas this hotel is the far north east. A big walk but it is possible, all the way across the tiber and through piazza navona and the spanish steps. Another great benefit is its proximity to the Borghese gardens with its beautiful pines, museums and galleries, and much entertainment for kids including boats and a small train. On the far side of the gardens is also a view right across Rome's skyline of St.Peters and the tiber. The hotel staff are friendly and have 24 hour reception service, and are very helpful and directions- the men even know all of the bus and metro routes. Room service is also good and they clean the rooms everyday on request.
