Nice home in poor neighborhood
Besides a terribly inadequate supply of the basics like trash bags and bath soap, the home was clean and comfortable. Unfortunately the cul de sac the home fronts is a parking lot of work cars and unkept homes.

The house is the right size, neat and clean, however...
Our host was very communicative about things however communication doesn't solve every issue. The main refrigerator was broken so we were provided an alternate in the living/common area downstairs - not in the kitchen - very inconvenient. There were many other "inconveniences" incluiding a broken dining room chair, not enough end tables, ambient lighting only in bedrooms (had to move lamps during our stay to have evening light in living room vs harsh overheads), the A/C broke down while we were there, I had to purchase a caddy for the shower as there was no place other than the floor to keep my toiletries in the shower, we were asked to leave dishes in a strainer that didn't exist, one toilet seat was broken, and the garage door didn't open properly. The pool table was fun but more like a toy than an actual table with not enough room to actually play all the way around. There was a very friendly neighborhood chicken who pecked at the glass slider every day looking for food. I was told we were not the first renters of the property but another person in my party was told we were the first, hence no reviews to read. I would not rent this home again because I think the owners weren't completely honest with me. The up side is that the bedrooms were nice, neat and roomy. The house definitely accomodates the number of people indicated and I will admit they are responsive regarding issues.
