Great place to stay when visiting Universal. Dedicated shuttle bus runs throughout the day and night to the park. Pool is beautiful. The 1 BR suite fit 2 adults and 2 teens very comfortably. Kitchenette was awesome. Room was bright and airy and very clean.

Stayed 10 nights at universal Dockside. It’s a 3 star hotel so don’t expect a 5 star hotel. We stayed in a two room suite which was clean and exactly as advertised. We didn’t hire a car as Uber was cheaper than hire plus parking and other fees. The good stuff were: 1. Transportation to and from the parks was excellent. 2. Great pool area. 3. Starbucks and universal store in reception. The not so good stuff: 1. The walls are thin to the point you can hear next door entering their safe code and voices. 2. Food court isn’t the best quality but is adequate and of course depends on your taste. 3. You are away from other attractions around international drive but there is the Iride trolly service and Uber. I would stay here again.

Overall a very good hotel. Check in was a breeze, the pool area is nice with lots of seating, and free convenient and efficient buses to the parks. The only improvement would be the cleaning staff and the hotel cafeteria. The beds are made and fresh towels provided but little effort to sweep and clean common areas. The cafeteria is very expensive for what you get and I regret spending the $25 for unlimited soda and can only be used at the hotel. Bring water bottles and fill them with water for free. I would stay again.
