Very nice hotel, lots of amenities included (even a Universal store in the lobby for those last minute souvenir purchases!). The pool areas are quite nice as well. The only negatives I can say is that there is some regular wear and tear in the rooms, which is to be expected, but it also wasn't enough to really negatively impact my stay (for example the bathroom door had water damage on it). The food court was a really nice touch and a great time saver too, so easy to just head down there to grab a quick bite. It was a bit pricey, but I think that is to be expected with any on-site hotel like this. We never had to wait very long for our shuttles to/from the park, it was always incredibly smooth transition. Would definitely stay here again.

Our room was clean but the shower head barely worked. Having come back from a late night at the park I decided to wait till morning to call. The next morning I called the front desk and explained which they replied they would send someone out to check it. I never got word if they came but we used the shower as is. We saw no difference if they did come out. To add more issues the drain in the sink gurgled so loud it woke us up in the middle of the night. I took a video of this and seriously I was waiting for it to erupt outta there. Needless to say I was not impressed nor happy with the accommodations. I have stayed with them at least 6 times and never had these issues.

Second time at Cabana Bay Resort. We like the rooms and overall cleanliness of the resort. Variety of food at the diner for a few days but get tired of pizza, burger, and chicken options; especially when those are the options at the parks. Easy to park at the resort and just use the Universal park buses to go over to City Walk and Universal. Easy walk to the resort guest entrance at Volcano Bay. Early entry to the parks is a great perk also!

Clean hotel with many amenities. Lazy river, bowling, and gift shop were great. Short bus ride to theme parks. Would definitely stay here again.

Only thing i didn't like, one of the restaurants we visited for food the day we arrived, the food was uncooked. Also, the beds in the room were kind of hard and the pillows - not to comfortable like others hotels I've stayed. But for a few days i guess is fine.

Hurricane Milton hit while we were on vacation here and the Cabana Bay staff did a great job during the uncertainty around the hurricane. With Volcano Bay Water Theme Park being on a short walk away and Universal studios being a short bus ride. This hotel is great for visiting the Universal Parks.
