Enjoyed my short stay. However the single room (this specific room) was small and was a little stuffy because of the lack of fans or AC. There was some noise above the room from the restaurant. Other than these my stay was great. Breakfast was lovely, the staff was very hospitable and the airport shuttle was so helpful. Really appreciate the care they put into the experience of my stay. I’ll recommend Velvet Suites again.

Room was good although well worn. The staff were friendly but not great English. Breakfast was ok, but somewhat poor quality. One example: I needed ice for a sprain and it took 10 hours to get any. Overpriced for the quality.

I’m delighted to be writing the very first review for this wonderful hotel on Hotels.com. As a brand-new property, Mövenpick Kigali has made an excellent first impression. The rooms are spacious, modern, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. We also had the opportunity to try all three buffet services - breakfast, lunch, and dinner - and each offered a wide variety of fresh, delicious options. What stood out most was the warmth and friendliness of the team. While the hotel is still new and there is naturally some room for refinement and additional training, every staff member we interacted with was genuinely welcoming and eager to help, which made our stay even more enjoyable. This hotel has a very bright future ahead of it. I would happily recommend it to anyone visiting Kigali, and I look forward to returning.

Every year when I bring teams to Kigali we always stay at the Urban. The staff and accommodations are top notch and the Bistro restaurant is always a favorite. When you have large teams it is hard to make everyone happy, but the Urban and the Bistro are a hit!
