« The general take away was everything is either a bit or on its way to being very run down. It was all clean enough, floors, kitchen, linens, and bathrooms. But even then, visible wear and tear (visibly dirty couch, grimey tiles, and hard to close kitchen cabinets). The hot water heater, we found, was initially turned off, but even when we turned it back on, the water never really got hot in the showers. The pool, while I understand we are in the desert and exposed, seemed dirtier than we would...

« Not a transparent transaction. Large deposit was not clearly disclosed and then held for 15 days after we vacated because "that is the policy". This transaction involved Expedia, the Local Agency and VRBO. It required numerous phone calls to find out when our deposit would be returned. None of these agencies would accept responsibility . »

Close to Joshua Tree visitor center. We wished the hot tub was a little farther from the roof so we would have a 360° sky view, but otherwise it was really perfect. »

« The cutest rental out there! We loved every second at this location, especially the sunsets over the mountains and the stargazing. Very true to the pictures on the listing and the bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on. Private enough to feel like a real desert getaway, but close enough to town and the park to be very convenient. We hope to be back soon. »
