"First time staying with as a family of 3 with a young toddler. Half board included breakfast and dinner which was different for the 2 nights we stayed. Great rooms, clean and spacious. Hotel exterior was also very peaceful and nice. Staff were very friendly and spoke good English. Superb service. Will be back again!"

"Nice Japanese boutique hotel within walking distance to town. Single storey Japanese style cottages or rooms (new wing) surrounded by Japanese gardens and features. 4-5 private in door and outdoor onsens to choose from. Delicious breakfast and for those with 1/2 board, the set dinner was very good with free flow of sake, coffee/tea and orange juice. Coffee/tea and orange juice also available at the reception lobby throughout our stay. Will stay again if visiting Yufurin in near future"

"Everything about Nihon No Ashitaba was so incredibly beautiful, serene, and thoughtful. They offer a free shuttle everyday to Yufuin station where you can walk, shop, eat, and enjoy Yufuin. We were greeted promptly after riding the Yufuin No Mori from Hakata Station.They have multiple private onsens and a large open air hot spring you can reserve a time everyday if you wanted. "Stayed overnight on a weekend trip to Yufuin. This accommodation is a gem of a place. The staff are very attentive and are present from check in to check out, whether arriving early to drop off your bags, in the restaurants or for the hot baths. They have private and public baths. The public baths are open all day 6am to 2 am, the private mornings and evenings just past midnight. You can book the private bath for your own party for 50 minutes. I had it all to myself. "Everything about staying here was great! I only speak English and Korean and the staff were extremely helpful and accommodating! Especially the manager at the front desk. I got to meet and have simple conversations with the staff. Even the ones that only speak Japanese. They were all friendly and kind regardless of language barriers.
