The staff was so nice and accommodating. Most staff spoke fluent English and were helpful in getting us a taxi and helping us with anything else we needed. Breakfast was traditional and incredible. The staff were kind, knowledgeable, and very attentive. There was a shuttle to and from the Yufuin JR station that was an easy phone call to arrange. The facilities were sparkling clean. We liked the different bathing areas. We didn't have dinner but we loved the breakfasts, which were different every day. The town of Yufuin is breathtaking. It has interesting tourist destinations and good food. Aside from spending time in the onsen, our favorite part of this trip was visiting neighboring Beppu, which was easy to access via the bus stop in front of the resort.
