Ideally located next to pilgrimgasse station so easy to get into the city and to most important places to visit. A modern clean and tidy hotel with friendly helpful staff who were patient with me - I was tired after a long day travelling. The rooms were great even though mine was a wedge on the curved corner I have plenty of space and the bathroom was the best I've have for a while - and the bathroom had shelves - hooray such a simple addition I wish more hotels would add a shelf or two.
I can't fault this plac it was what it said it would be and it was what I needed!

The stay was very smooth
The rooms are very spacious and confortable
The breakfast was lacking variety specially when you stay 10 days
The staff is welcoming and helpfull
Unfortunetly the hotel location is not a good one in Vienna despita the fact that is it very close to a center station
Good stay for two nights. Visiting Vienna for first time. Close to metro (5 min walk), but in "interesting" part of town. Not sure I'd walk it after dark. No restaurants or much else nearby other than s grocery store. No ice machines at hotel, which was a bit odd. However, my wife got a good massage at the spa for 60 e. Overall served its purpose.
The hotel (old building) is closely and well managed by the family members; at my arrival at the airport I had a bit of hard time locating the driver (the son) who was sent to meet us with his own sedan car (the luggage hardly fit inside the car) but he was very helpful and friendly. At arrival, we were warmly met by the manager (the mother) and given a nice large studio for 3 pax...everything worked fine, WIFI, hot water and kitchenette..Very good accommodation but looking up at the main street that was quite noisy in the night with traffic.
The breakfast was included in our rate, considered to be quite good and full: boiled eggs, croissants, musclei, yoghurts, turkey and ham coffee and milk...
I really want to thank that hotel family for the tips they gave us when asked for information, and for the coupons they offered us for free beers at another resto in the same street...
We really felt at home and supported by the hotel staff...I will definitely come back to that hotel but will prefer to have a room that do not have a window on the street... I salute Leo, Regina and Leo for their kindness and support. Wish them good luck in their business..
Not too far from the centre of the city. Take bus 14a (short ride) to Pilgramgasse subway station(line U4) , 2 stops to Karlsplatz station where you can take line U1 if you want to go to Stephansplatz first(one stop). Quiete suroundings. Helpfull owner.
We used the hotel as a base for exploring Vienna and found it good value and very convenient for public transport. Although it is not in a very central location there are very easy connections to the old city and other interesting locations. The hotel appears to be very efficiently run and everything we needed was there.
The Art Hotel worked well for my tourist visit to Vienna. My single room was very affordable, large and well set up. The location is two blocks from the bus stop and then 2 stops to the U. Works easily with Vienna's great public transportation system. The neighborhood is working class with a pleasant Platz one block away with a market, restaurants and gelato!
