Every evening the sunset is right in our backyard.
Light up the firepit table or the wood firepit during the cooler months and go out on the kayak during the warmer months.
Quiet, comfy, and chill, it's all about regaining your sanity in a crazy world.
Our quirky little house built in the '70s is a peaceful place close to SO much.

Great location!

The back yard with the lake is wonderful. The biggest drawback was the condition of the two bunk beds. Our grandkids were not comffortable sleeping on the top levels due to the creaky nature of the frames and leg joints. Both need some reinforcement of the leg joints. There was a rather noisy party across the pond which kept us from sitting outside to enjoy the sunset.

Overnight stay on our way to Florida
We stopped for a night on our way to Florida. This property is gorgeous! Every room and every bed was clean and so comfortable. Our crew was thankful to rest in such a beautiful home. I only wish we could have stayed longer. The deck outside looking over the lake was so relaxing. I would have loved sitting out there drinking my coffee in the morning. This was a lovely VRBO!

I would recommend this VRBO to anyone traveling to Macon, GA. Nine adults slept and visited comfortably in a clean and tastefully decorated home. We loved just about everything about this home: the beautiful view of lake and sunset on the spacious deck, complete with propane firepit table and large propane grill and visible through large windows/doors; luxurious bathrobes with slippers; QUIET toilets, good water pressure with a great showerhead; towels aplenty, labels on cupboards and drawers; quiet washer and dryer; utensils and cookware sufficient for most; AND comfortable beds. All of the above gives reason for the 5-star rating we've given this well-kept home. Some amenities we wished for would include: at least one portable/folding luggage stand and perhaps a small dresser in each bedroom; a few more hangers; in the common areas, a dining table for six or eight with lower chairs would accommodate a large, aging family better; the couch with reclining seats was the most comfortable seating in the living room; it would be nice to have a similar couch or two comfortable upholstered chairs in place of the large black cushion/bean bag/lounge seat; aa shower in the upstairs bathtub would be most welcome, especially for a group of adults. In addition to these major improvements, here's a list of smaller items that would make a family's needs completely answered: a bottle opener, a big spaghetti pot, and a crockpot in the kitchen; more bathroom tissue, and perhaps a box of tissues in each bathroom; and most of all, a bathroom sink downstairs that would drain properly (not slowly or sluggishly as this one did). Adding these things would make this VRBO ideal. We loved our brief stay and would rent this home again if we needed a home in Macon. Thank you for all this home provides for a large family.
