My friends and I had a nice stay at the hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Kudos to Gina at the bar for being fabulous! The only complaint we had is that we wish they did more housekeeping, at least come get all of the trash & dirty glassware out of the room, etc. Otherwise no complaints. It was a fun hotel to stay at.

Had a wonderful stay at Hotel Ziggy! Room was nicely furnished and hotel felt recently updated and well maintained. The bar had interesting and delicious cocktail offerings which was super convenient. My absolute favorite part of our stay was the free nightly entertainment in the hotel, even on Mondays - Wednesdays when we visited. The musicians and comedians brought in for these events were great, we couldn't believe the quality for the convenience! While the location felt pretty safe and centrally located for the many LA tourism things we did, I do wish there was more restaurants and more to do in the immediate walkable area.

I normally do not write reviews but this time I am compelled to. The only decent thing was the morning staff. Felt scammed by this hotel. Every reason we booked this hotel was disappointing. Pool was closed (had been for several days I was told due to some maintenance issues), “shred room” was a small cabinet around the corner with mediocre instruments), and lounge was closed when we arrived at 10 pm. To top things off, the fridge in our room was warm so we had to use the ice bucket to store our pressed juices. Front desk guy that night had an attitude when I voiced our disappointment, On top of that the bedside lamp did not work so we could not plug in our phones to charge, room phone did not work, and we froze that night because bed had no comforter, only a thin blanket layered between 2 sheets, Morning front desk guy was more helpful, said he would refund taxes and amenities fee (which should not have been charged sine no amenities) , and give use breakfast credit. He gets 5 stars. But I would rather stay anywhere else and feel they should refund our money because the whole “sell” was a scam, I mean, come on, at lease provide a comforter for your guests.

I was happy until I got home and saw my credit card was charged double!! It was a pre-paid room via Expedia, but they still change me for $475!! they still don't know how i was charged and the dispute is still going... also it's $55 parking fee, just FYI
