I normally do not write reviews but this time I am compelled to.
The only decent thing was the morning staff. Felt scammed by this hotel.
Every reason we booked this hotel was disappointing. Pool was closed (had been for several days I was told due to some maintenance issues), “shred room” was a small cabinet around the corner with mediocre instruments), and lounge was closed when we arrived at 10 pm.
To top things off, the fridge in our room was warm so we had to use the ice bucket to store our pressed juices. Front desk guy that night had an attitude when I voiced our disappointment,
On top of that the bedside lamp did not work so we could not plug in our phones to charge, room phone did not work, and we froze that night because bed had no comforter, only a thin blanket layered between 2 sheets,
Morning front desk guy was more helpful, said he would refund taxes and amenities fee (which should not have been charged sine no amenities) , and give use breakfast credit. He gets 5 stars. But I would rather stay anywhere else and feel they should refund our money because the whole “sell” was a scam, I mean, come on, at lease provide a comforter for your guests.
