Nice big room w large comfortable king bed. Got caught up in the IT problem of 19 July so had to spend 4nts in LA until our new flight. The check here is very late at 4pm. We arrived here at 12.30pm and althought the room was available, the Hotel charges $40US to check in early. They did allow check in from 2pm without a fee. The same problem with check out. Got 1 hr free to 12pm but any more and there is a fee of $80USD. We were on the 10th floor and the carpet in the hallway is shabby with patches, slippage and marks on it. When we phone to ask about a later check out, a very efficious member of staff told us about the fee. She granted us the 1 hr and hung up on him even though he had another question. Cleaning staff were a credit to the hotel.

This property was amazing staff was very helpful and friendly. Our room was cleaned everyday and house keeping staff was very nice and considering. The hotel has a beautiful restaurant and bar area. Many people seemed to enjoy the social atmosphere in the restaurant. I love that they have free water machines to fill up your water bottles. There were no microwaves in the rooms but there was a Microwave located in the ice machine area; and let me tell you for a hotel floor to have to share a microwave that was one of the cleanest microwaves I ever seen. I also like the fact that there was a Courtesy letter from management on the dresser in the rooms informing guest that they are upgrading the areas in the hotel so please bear the noise. I didn’t hear and construction but thanks for making us aware. The only thing that was a little issue was the shuttle. There is no schedule so the shuttle just runs. The day we were leaving to go to our flight we came down stairs at about 7:10am and after standing outside for about 30mins the shuttle still did not arrive to take everyone to the airport for departure flights. Instead we called an Lyft that got there in 3mins and drop us off at the airport in less then 7 mins. I will definitely book again. Thanks!!!

I did not rate this property a 5 because I am only 5 ft 1 inch, the beds, though very comfortable, are quite high from the floor and hard to get into. Also, the tp in the bathroom is too hard to reach from the toilet. I had to take it off the holder to use it. I don't consider being short to be a disability, so did not request an accessible room.
