"We were extremely disappointed with our stay.Upon arrival, we found numerous cleanliness and maintenance issues that should have been addressed before check-in. We encountered dirty towels, stained bedding, dirty dishes and cookware that needed to be washed before use, residue and buildup on furnishings, a broken screen door, and a strong sewage odor in the unit. Instead of starting our vacation, we spent a large portion of the first day cleaning and addressing problems that should not have existed in a rental of this price point.To the management company’s (Kauai Kahuna) credit, they did respond to our complaints and sent housekeeping and maintenance about 24 and 48 hours after we reported the issues. However, that does not change the fact that the unit was not in acceptable condition when we arrived. We documented the issues with photos and reported them immediately.The management company, Kauai Kahuna, attributed some concerns to the age of the property and the humid Hawaiian climate, but dirty towels, dirty cookware, stained bedding, and other housekeeping issues cannot be explained by the property’s age.The location itself is beautiful, but the condition of the unit significantly impacted our experience. For the amount we paid, we expected a clean, well-maintained vacation rental. Unfortunately, that was not the experience we had."

"We could hear the crashing of the waves and were kept cool through the night by the ocean breeze. We woke to the beautiful sunrise every morning on the deck. Spectacular views of the ocean!"

"From the concierges, to the valets, to the poolside wait staff, to the housekeeping, the hospitality was wonderful! We made the mistake of doing Uber instead of a rental car. Not the smartest idea considering it is really easy to get an Uber from the airport to Princeville, but very hard to get an Uber while at the hotel. The valet manager and staff were very helpful in arranging other transportation for us, and even drove us to and from the hotel to the the Princeville Market so we could try some other restaurants in addition to the ones at the hotel. Perfect access to the beach and fun trails to walk/hike."

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This property is ocean front and the views from the home are magical. I am a repeat visitor and the view never disappoints. While not new, the house is comfortable, functional and clean. We had 6 people and were short on towels, which the management company quickly rectified. Only thing I wish they had was body wash in the showers instead of bar soap and possibly more clothes soap for washing towels. Otherwise stay couldn’t be more perfect."

"Gorgeous home, amazing views! RIGHT on the beach. I didn’t fully understand that 2 of the bedroom/suites were “separate” from the main house, for multiple couples/families that’s a definite plus, for one family with kids it’s a little less desirable. A bit of traffic noise in those 2 suites. Just good to know going in. House was immaculately clean, stocked with everything you could possibly want! Loved the beach towels, beach chairs, etc… The location was perfect for us, away from the mainstream, but close enough to drive, lush surroundings, perfectly secluded. Fans were a definite plus since the ocean front rooms don’t have a cross breeze. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. "
