"It was a nice quiet resort with not a lot of people around which was nice for our honeymoon. I didn’t realize how far north the resort is and far from a lot of the activities we wanted to do. The unit was perfect for us but it definitely was outdated. The main bathroom shower head was terrible. It was really close to a private beach but not really safe for swimming due to the waves."

"The property was located right next to the beach as listed with gorgeous views. The pool was easy to access and we were the only ones there when we went! It is a great location from Tunnels Beach, we were able to get there early and easily get a parking spot. The afternoon we checked in was humid so we pulled out the three standing fans in the closet, but only one worked. When we contacted the host number no one answered. When we tried a second time, someone answered, but we were told that since it was late on a Friday, 4:30 pm, that it was unlikely that the "housekeeper" would still be available to assist us. We were there till Tuesday, but no one ever stopped by or called us back about the standing fans. Thankfully all the ceiling fans were working."

"The property is beautiful but the pool was cold. I don’t know why they don’t heat it. The water at the beach is almost completely brown from the river water that flows in next to it. And it rained every day we were there. Most of the rain isn’t bad. One day it rained hard and we all had to leave the pool and go inside. The disc golf course wasn’t usable because I was told they don’t maintain it. My daughter wanted to drop in the kids club for a hour but that’s only possible two days a week. The gelato and shaved ice shop was closed for renovations (in July really?!?!). The staff was friendly. My son loved the soccer camp. The food was good and the grounds were beautiful, but I won’t be going back."

"Great property and location. It’s in a remote area north side of the island. Often we had the entire beach area to ourselves which was delightful. At night listening to the sound of waves is so relaxing. I would note two things not stated in the listing. The house sits on stilts as most do in the area with a staircase to climb going in and out. Wasn’t an issue but I was glad my elderly mother chose not to join us on the trip as it would have been difficult for her.The house does not have AC. At first I was a little concerned but the design is so clever with plenty of windows we could open with a cool cross wind blowing through constantly. Turned my concern into an absolutely delightful experience not needing AC and enjoying nature at its best!"

"This house is amazing!! Has everything you could need and more! Really appreciated little things like beach chairs, boogie boards, laundry detergent being stocked… only thing that was a little tricky is the master bedroom is separated by a breezeway, an outside breezeway… so if you have small children it is tricky to have both adults sleep in that room. Otherwise house is special, walking distance to the beach, a cute little coffee shop, quick drive to tunnels beach and more!"
