It was pretty cold, so we weren't able to enjoy the lovely firepit or the grill outside, but we enjoyed the cozy indoor fireplace and sitting in front of it in the evenings while we unwound from a day of adventure. And, she was anxious to walk Lucy for us when we were out antiquing, shopping or eating. The accommodations were cozy and comfortable. Just the right size for the two of us. "We made a trip North from Pa for a much needed weekend away. This was our third trip to the NOTL area. This property was so easily centric to everything we wanted to do. We walked everywhere downtown and to the grand Lake O! short drive to wineries, a golf outlet etc. The house was comfortable, charming and everything we needed for a weekend away from it all! We’ll definately be back!!"

"The Carriage House was a dream come true. Beautifully appointed, extremely clean, well stocked with everything we needed and perfectly located for day trips around Ontario and into NY. "This is the cutest wee animal sanctuary. Place was clean and comfortable. Communication with owner was immediate and excellent. It is a bit rustic, but for me, i was very happy. "The property was just as described yet there’s a feeling of cozy warmth that almost embraces you as soon as you walk into Moe’s place. We spent a few nights ringing in the New Year with family and it was THE perfect spot to do just that. The view was amazing, the cottage was spotless and well stocked, the hot tub and game room kept the kids occupied and beyond content. "Our family of eight stayed here for six days. The neighborhood is nice and quiet. The hosts are accommodating. However, the kids ran around from upstairs, even though it was quite late at night and we were trying to sleep in the lower level of the house. One of my relatives is handicapped and had difficulty going up the stairs because there was only one handrail for her to use, and she can only use one side of her body.
