"Close to beach, shops, fine dinning and great view"
We were lucky to have been upgraded to a room with a beach view. The room was very comfortable, but didn't have a coffeemaker or a tub. The pool area was very nice but we didn't use it because of the rain. The hotel has a very good concierge services that help with tour arrangements. We asked if we could check out after 12PM since we were taking a tour returning at 1PM and they were kind enough to do that for us. We were very thankful. They also stored our luggage the entire evening given the fact of our late night flight. No extra fees or surprise fees in the hotel, everything is very straight forward. We enjoyed happy hour in the lobby with very good cocktails and live music, excellent after a busy day at the beach. We definitely would like to return to this hotel.

"Hotel location is great! Close to Waikiki shoping."
For my brother and me it was the perfect place. We could get to any place we wanted, the streets got us out of there quickly. Getting back could be tricky. It's been 15 years since I've been back but I remembered this hotel because all of my wedding guests stayed there and they thought it was Great!

"Nice hotel for good price"
Offered standard amenities that all hotels have, valet parking is around $22 a day no option for or against it. Resteraunt in lobby is great! Only about a 5 min walk to ABC stores, beach, resteraunts, and about 10-15 min walk to zoo and aquarium. Overall very nice staff And location but outside traffic is loud even at night and the room would not go below 72 deg temp wise

"Nice hotel tucked away in the heart of Waikiki"
This hotel is nicely tucked away in a lesser traffic area but yet still walking distance from a lot of the Waikiki highlights like the beach, restaurants, shops, and the zoo. There was always parking available and the staff were very helpful and pleasant to deal with. The room is rather plain yet comfortable. But if you're not planing to stay in your room the whole time you're in Hawaii the room isn't a big deal. The hotel restaurants are alright but you're not limited to just whats at the hotel. There are ton of restaurants within walking distance. Overall, I enjoyed my stay.

"Hotel was well located."
Hotel was well located within easy walking distance of shops, restaurants and beaches. As there was a large group of us we used to meet most days for happy hour before dinner and bar staff were particularly friendly. Overall a pleasant experience.

"SMALL DATED ROOM. GREAT LOBBY."
Room and bathroom was very small and outdated. Bed was comfortable lack of balcony was a letdown. Do not open sliding door if you have young children as the opening is enough for a toddler to slip and fall off side of building easily. It was great having full-service Starbucks and fully stocked convenience store in the lobby. Lobby was decorated beautifully staff was very friendly upon contact throughout our stay. Walls are thin, lots of slamming doors loud pipes and neighbor "noise".

The hotel was great and the staff was to. The only down side was it was a little way from town. They did have a shuttle you could take which was nice.

"Excellent hotel close to HNL airport"
I needed a comfortable overnight at the airport. The Best Western Plaza Hotel was just that, and more. The room was surprisingly spacious and well appointed. Only disappointment, it was American Thanksgiving night. The restaurant was closed. Some snacks from the Gift Shop sufficed.
