Yes it is an older house and it creaks a bit and you can hear people walking above you (living room and kitchen) when you are in the bedrooms on the lower level but it is in good shape and fit our two families of 4 very nicely. We loved the long dining room table and the working fireplace in the living room. We loved that they allow dogs. The house is right near river road so easy to get in and out from tahoe City and the local resorts. The kitchen is well equipped. I wish they had washcloths and Kleenex tissue. ##### Lauren S. Jun 14, 2022 #### Photos are deceiving - not what it looks like A little disappointing of a place, even though the location is prime. The cabin is old and dilapidated. Everything squeaks and is barely hanging on (switches, towel holders, door knobs etc) Filthy place full of spider webs and minimal quick cleaning right before our arrival. Broken windows screens and no locks on the doors. It took me 20 mins to figure out how to turn on the TV. Horrible outdated electronics. This place is a sham. Totally not worth the money I paid.
