« April 26-29 2024……Awesome beachfront!!! Staff cleaning up from prior weeks storm which washed sand dunes into parking lot…. Accommodations were made for parking. Staff was working to remedy situation. Restaurants a short walk and grocery stores and bait store nearby a short drive by car…our room was a king with kitchenette accessible by 2 flights of stairs…. No elevators….basic kitchen supplies… dishes… pots toaster and coffee makers kerig and standard… no cutting board…soap and dish towel...

« We loved the closeness to the ferry to Ocracoke. We were just here for a couple nights and it was super easy to hop on the ferry for a day of exploring, and then use the drive to and from Hatteras to explore that island. Super clean and had everything we needed. Quiet and nice walks around for wandering. »

« We love this location and have stayed here before. The quiet small town has everything you need and is away from all the busyness. This particular unit is the farthest unit away from the beach. Technically you can see the ocean but the view is 95% the campground next door. The unit was nice however the floors were sandy when we got there and there were several maintenance issues that need to be addressed. Overall, for the price it’s a nice place. »

« We should have stayed longer but we enjoyed the house and all the amenities. Kids really enjoyed the pool . Even when we went to beach they begged to come back to the pool! House is big so I would get lost at times! Lol »

« The property itself was clean and as advertised, but was still smaller than anticipated. We had to store our empty suitcase in our car because there is no room. There is no privacy if you use the porch and upper deck which was annoying. « Second stay here. Love the location and the studio has everything you need. The hot tub was heavenly especially on the cold nights I was there. Met the owner this trip and Mark was very friendly and welcoming as always. A mile to the ferry which I took to Ocracoke and spent the day. Plenty to do on Hatteras so much history, shopping and beautiful beaches. Love it there! »
