"The property was clean and well stocked, with all the amenities advertised. The location was perfect, so close to the beach! There a small issue with the hot tub but Chuck was super responsive and had it fixed the next morning. We enjoyed the grill, cornhole, biking around, the outdoor showers and all the house had to offer. Great stay overall."

"I can’t say enough about our stay in Avon at the McMullen property! Our large family had a magical week of swimming sound-side, kayaking in the sound, family meals and games, days on the gorgeous beaches, learning to surf, and enjoying amazing sunsets every night. We even had front row seats to the meteor showers! Nat is the most responsive host we’ve ever had and she answered all of our questions right away. We had a family photo shoot at sunset and got some priceless photos. The property is expansive, well maintained, and includes everything you need for a beautiful vacation. We would absolutely stay there again!"

"We loved this experience. We actually stayed next door previously and even though the layout is similar found this house to be so much more functional. There are essentially 3 large refrigerators in the house, 3 ovens, a large gas stove upstairs and electric downstairs. The pool is awesome with a ledge for seating allowing people who wanted to read the space to read while my young nephews loved playing in the pool. The proximity to the sound is ideal and perfect for people who love water sports and shallow enough for people just learning. The house feels private while being so close to all that Avon has to offer. Hosts were easy to communicate with and responsive. This was one of my best rental experiences on the OBX and we would gladly return. The only sad part was leaving."
