We went to Buxton for a quick weekend visit. This was a great spot, conveniently located and they allowed our dogs in this particular room (Hugo). The room has a mini fridge, microwave and drip coffee pot with supplies to brew a pot of coffee. We saw Wanda in the shared room and she was very welcoming and answered all of our questions. The unit is similar to a hotel room but with a couch and is spacious. Enjoyed the upstairs deck for reading. Comfy bed. Walking distance to Diamond Shoals restaurant, which we enjoyed. Liked convenience of the ice machine in the common area for our cooler. The beach is nice. You can walk just a short distance to the left and be in a natural area with no houses.
