Roomy 2 bedroom ( one bedroom is a loft), 2 bathroom condo. Cozy, comfortable family area for TV and games. View some of the best sunsets on Hatteras Island while enjoying cocktails on the spacious new deck after a day at the beach. We have a king bedroom with a private full bath and the second bedroom is a second floor loft with 2 twin beds! It is a short 4 minute walk to the beach. Perfect for a family of 4 , or 2 couples. Walking distance to great restaurants, ice cream and shops. Less than an mile to the Avon fishing pier. Swimming and Tennis included at the Kinnakeet Shores pool, tennis and pickleball courts, located 2 miles south in the Kinnakeet Shores neighborhood, located behind the Food Lion. We are often told that the pictures do not do the condo justice. The dock is privately owned. It is great to look at, but it is not available for us to use. There is a boat ramp on property to launch kayaks. The area is extremely quiet and we loved using the provided kayaks in the sound. The short walk to the beach was very convenient and the beach in this area is not busy at all and very relaxing. Communication with Dan was easy and he was very responsive to any issues we had. The driveway coming in was full of major pot holes, so you have to drive in very slowly and carefully. The master bedroom bed was as hard as a rock and my husband & I had some of the worst nights' sleep of our lives. The neighbors were not friendly & seemed to watch our every move.Parking always seemed to be an issue. The bathrooms are small. On the positive side, our contact for the place was nice and responded to our questions. The condo is exactly like the pictures. Between the deck overlooking the sound and the walk across the street to the ocean you couldn't be any closer to the variety of water options the Outer Banks has to offer. Be it a sunset or a walk over the sand dunes to the ocean you don't even have to get in your car to experience OBX from this locale. The kitchen has everything you need to make a meal when you choose to stay in. But if you do venture out don't miss the apple uglies from the Orange Blossom in Buxton or the Sno Balls -- Hatteras style from from Hatteras Sno-Balls and Ice Cream just down the street in Frisco. Dan was a great host --- incredibly responsive and helpful. Couldn't have asked for a better stay. If it's available grab it first ... it won't be there when you go back later. ##### George A.
