« Simple but clean and well-placed accommodations. One night stay during a road trip at OBX. Perfectly placed as a staging point for our next day's itinerary of visiting Hatteras and Ocracoke. Minimal kitchen supplies, but all we needed for reheating some leftovers. IT would have been difficult to cook "homemade" meals. Also, FYI the hot tub/pool facilities are at the main hotel about a mile away, not at the cottage itself. Not a problem for my trip, but may confuse others. »

« Easy check in and super communicative host. Room was perfect size. Only thing I would say is fan in room needs to be included in cleaning process - we could not turn it on as it was very dirty/dusty. Also under bed could be cleaned better as well, as there was some trash. Would definitely stay here again! »

« A short walk to the beach, stores, & restaraunts. The room was comfortable with remotes for the two ceiling fans and AC/Heat. Common area upstairs has plenty of seating to gather with freinds and a commercial ice machine....bonus! Electric grills on the raised deck which looks to the beach. Owners extremely communicative and aswered all questions in a timely manner. WiFi was strong and consistent. We will be back! »

« We loved the location. Beautiful peaceful beach right by the property. Close to the lighthouse and plenty of restaurants. We took the ferry into Ocracoke and spent some time there. Would love to go back! Highly recommend. »

« Very clean with cute decor and plenty of space! We enjoyed the house very much. My only comment would be that in the listing, it describes being a 3 min walk to OBX beaches. However, that is for the OBX Motel property which owns this house, and not this house itself. It was about a 7 min drive to the nearest beach from this property. Not a deal-breaker, but worth noting. Other than that, excellent property and property management. »
