Quick fall break trip

The 2nd floor condo was great for our short fall break trip. We always visit and stay at the lighthouse in October. With unit on 2nd floor we could easily take stairs down to access pool and beach. Condo was nicely decorated and clean. It was well equipped to fit the needs of our stay. We would definitely reserve this unit again

Perfect for a Couples Getaway

The location of this property is great. It's on the second floor so it has very easy access to all the activities of the resort. The condo was clean and had all of the things you need. The master bed is extremely comfortable. This is perfect for a couples getaway. We would stay again!

Family Spring Break

Great location, facility and amenities. Property manager (vacasa) is very responsive. On site security ensures the property is quiet after hours (hot tubs are closed promptly at 10:30), which we appreciated. Unit is very clean and well furnished with an amazing view and super easy parking right outside the door. Parking pass available to purchase upon arrival (up until 10 pm). Be sure to bring or be ready to purchase any cooking essentials (oil, butter, salt/pepper, coffee filters, etc.) as the unit does not come with them. Highly recommend!

Lighthouse Condo 217

Everything about this condo is high-end. The fixtures, the DISH SATALITE channels, modern clean furnishings. Easy to use LG washer & dryer. Plus the location of the condo to the building design, which in part, allows for parking right outside of the entrance door to the condo.

Exceeded expectations

The kitchen offered a keurig and had everything we needed to cook meals. We rented beach chairs and umbrellas from the friendliest guy on the beach- the kids loved all 3 of the very big tvs- I liked the little nightlight in the hall and the nice washer and dryer- everything was updated and classy- first class place!

Great Condo

The weather was perfect and the condo was great! The kitchen was one of the best stocked we've ever had the privilege of using in a condo. The ceramic frying pan made scrambling eggs easy with cleanup a breeze. The only complaint I have (and it's a small one) was the ice maker. It was very slow to make ice but we still had just enough for our needs. My daughter especially liked the chairs on the balcony - very comfortable. We look forward to staying at Lighthouse 217 again!

The good: The balcony/view was the only good thing The bad: Loud noises from workers pressure washing to paint the building in front of our room 3 of 8 days stay plus other days walking through dust blown from workers pressure washing The washer & dryer didn’t not clean or dry our clothes The showers in both bathrooms was only big enough for a kid The couch was so lumpy/uncomfortable..felt like it was one off the side of the road The comforter & sheets had stains The refrigerator/freezer made loud noises Both toilets kept running

Great Location but needs some attention

The location of The Lighthouse was perfect for the activities(golfing, shopping, enjoying the beach and eating out) that we wanted to do in Gulf Shores. This unit had parking right outside the door which we found very convenient. We were however, disappointed in the lack of comfort in a few things ( the sofa, the king size bed and the bathroom and bedroom linens)that have all seen better days. Some attention to these items would definitely bring us back to unit #217.

This place was great! Location, noise level, beach wasn’t overcrowded! With it being on the 2nd floor and close to the pool, the noise was minimal. The only thing is that there were a few cosmetic things that could have been touched up, but that’s it! Great stay. Would book again!
