Family vacation
A wonderful stay for our family with adult kids, spouses and grandbabies. Super convenient to town. Property was even better in person than the pictures showed. Amazing views from the deck and in the mornings, deer would frequent to graze right outside . Well stocked kitchen! Comfortable beds. Toddler loved the playroom- lots of toys to keep busy! Would highly recommend this property!

Perfect getaway!
Amazing view from the deck! The house was fully stocked with so many little extras for the kids to enjoy. The access to Grand Lake & RMNP was super easy. I’d recommend stopping for groceries in Granby or Winter Park on your way in because the little store in town is tiny. Overall- we had the best time and would highly recommend!!

Wonderful house and location
Check in was very smooth, house exceptionally clean, provision of essentials, eg. Toilet paper, great. Only down side was we weren’t able to check in early or check out late. But I understand the need to give cleaners time to do their jobs since it’s a very large house. Would definitely recommend this house and stay in it again.

Wonderful place, beautiful views!
This house was the perfect place for our family unit. We traveled with my in-laws (60s) and our kids (5 & 3) and it was the perfect place for a multi-generational vacation. It was a short drive to town but still felt secluded and very private. BE WARNED! The groceries in town are soooo expensive. We wish we would have bought a cooler and stocked up in another, bigger town first. We did a small run for just the essentials and left paying $240. So plan accordingly. The kitchen was well-stocked. The basement game room made for some really fun evenings and the our littles absolutely loved the playroom in the loft (tons of stuffed animals, kids’ books, toys, etc). The views from the patio were breathtaking!!! Actually, there’s a view from almost any spot in the house. Including the upstairs bathroom! We didn’t want to leave. The hosts were very responsive and took care of our every need. We will be staying here again in the future!

House was wonderful. Very peaceful setting with amazing views. Owners were great with communication. We were able to watch a mama and young moose graze the property on several occasions. The location is great as it is close to the shops and restaurants in Grand Lake and easy access to Rocky Mountain National Park, yet secluded and relaxing! Highly recommend.

Christmas in a Snowglobe
This trip was absolutely everything we could have asked for in a cabin in the mountains at Christmas. We had the opportunity to stay here over Christmas week this year with our kids and spent the entire week with more snow than we could’ve asked for and had the coziest, sweetest time. It was a healing bomb to our souls that we did not even know we needed. We loved that we had space to roam on the property, making it feel like it’s on oasis without needing to leave. We went into town a couple of times, but were happy to be snowed in.

Serenity in the woods
The cabin is located on 7 acres that in the snow looks like a winter wonderland. The views are amazing. The cabin itself is beautiful. It is extremely conducive to families. They have an extensive amount of cards and board games. They also have a ping pong and shuffleboard tables downstairs. The kids had a blast sledding down the super long driveway. The owner was responsive and pleasant. I highly recommend this rental.

Everything about the cabin is spot on! Beautiful cabin, views, amenities, etc. Everyone in town were nice and helpful. This cabin’s location is great, right between the hot springs and Winter Park also right next to Kawuneeche visitor center. Down town is the ice skating rink, and Rocky Mountain Repertory Theater. All in all Grand Lake is a very special place.

Simple & Cozy
The house was wonderful and had everything you would have at home and more. There were plenty of extras that others had left behind. Definitely go to the cabin before hitting up the grocery. City Market is much more reasonably priced and worth driving to Grandby. The view of the snow capped Rockies over Shadow Lake was gorgeous and peaceful. It’s very close to both the East Inlet & North Inlet trail heads of RMNP. The North Inlet has Cascade Falls and East is Adam’s Falls. Both were worth the hike! We had a family of Elk visit us for a day. We very much enjoyed watching them from the balcony and the hot tub. The town of Grand Lake is very cute and we had a great time checking out the shops, talking to locals and eating ice cream! It’s a very pretty place! One thing I wish is that we could walk around Shadow Lake, but it said private property so we respected the owners wishes.

The home is beautiful and the view phenomenal. This was the perfect home base to see RMNP. I love the more quiet side of the Rockies. The home is just a few minutes from the Western entrance to the park. It had all the amenities:hot tub with beautiful views, kitchen fully equipped, property is isolated from neighbors. We saw elk, fox and even a bear one morning. We plan on returning to this beautiful place that is perfect after a day’s adventures!

Our family of seven thoroughly enjoyed this gem over looking Shadow Lake in the early morning through the evening hours. The cabin was very accountable to our needs where we could make breakfast or enjoy the outdoor grill and outdoor seating for evening meals. The children loved the bag game, volleyball and indoor games but the hot tub was the most relaxing after our hiking experiences. Thanks for the wonderful accommodations.
