"We were pleasantly surprised by the townhouse "room" we got for our stay, When I booked the property for our 25th wedding anniversary, I thought I had booked a normal room, we wanted a room with an ocean view and the "off-site" reservation specialist said they did not have any ocean rooms left. I was expecting a normal king room and so we were very excited about not only a two story beautiful place to stay for 3 days but to have 2 stories of ocean views made our stay! The staff were all so friendly, the restaurant was fantastic! My only complaint is the rooms are dated and in need of repairs but we looked right past if to those amazing ocean views and beautiful property. We loved our stay and will definitely be back!"

"This is an ideal stay for families and multiple guests. Lots of privacy, great patio and pool table, comfortable beds, well-stocked and clean kitchen, quiet and conveniently located. I didn’t enjoy the check-in procedure. The code was wrong and it was not easy getting a new one. One elderly guest had to wait in discomfort for us to get into the house. Rather unprofessional."

"We loved everything about Carmel Pearl! Sanctuary Vacation Rentals does a great job making check in and check out easy. Everything was well stocked from towels, to box fans, to blankets, even little flashlights. The kitchen and laundry facilities were also very generously stocked for a lengthy stay (laundry detergent, dishwasher tabs, trash bags, cleaning supplies). All you need is right nearby - grocery store, shops, Carmel by the Sea, restaurants, beaches- everything is within 1-2 miles. The location is very safe and quiet. The complimentary cheese, crackers, and wine were a nice touch! What was really elevated was the furniture! Usually rental homes have uncomfortable couches and chairs that are worn down, but this home had the most comfortable, high quality plush chairs and couches! We appreciated the no pets allowed due to allergies. We would absolutely stay here again if our travels bring us to Carmel. Definitely visit Point Lobos, 17 mile drive, and Carmel Meadows Trail for beautiful coastal views. And be sure to try Dametra for dinner and From Scratch for breakfast. Thank you for a wonderful stay!!!"

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a fantastic stay! The ocean views from the home are absolutely spectacular, and the privacy and peacefulness of the property are hard to beat. The house is spacious, beautifully maintained, and feels truly special. We loved seeing deer, quail, rabbits, a bobcat, and even humpback whales from the patio.The location is secluded yet just a few minutes from Carmel and local shopping. The property managers were exceptionally responsive and helpful throughout our stay.We loved it here and are already looking forward to coming back!"
