Property was so well appointed and very chic. Complimentary breakfast was so much more than expected. Eggs, breads, salads, fresh smoothies and so much more. Everything was delicious! Staff was super friendly and helpful. Rooms were very clean. Beds were comfortable. Loved drinking a glass of wine snuggled in a blanket by the outdoor fire pits. Definitely will be staying at the Stilwell again on my next trip to Carmel!

We enjoyed our stay. My two comments are that here is not enough parking and there was also a very faint odor in the bathroom, perhaps from a drain. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the bed was comfortable, the property was clean and the breakfast was good.

Excellent hotel. Just a lovely group of courtyards with fire pits, wonderful staff and very nice rooms. Throughly enjoyed it and the location can't be beat. And super dog friendly!!

This was a fantastic place to stay for us on our trip to Carmel-by-the-Sea! The hotel was right in the middle of town and made walking around the area really easy. There was plenty of parking at the hotel. Staff was super friendly. The best part of our stay was the fantastic breakfast variety and oven fired pizza that was included daily! This is definitely where we’ll be staying on our future trips to Carmel or Monterey :)

Seamless check in experience, centrally located on a charming street, well sized parking lot, clean rooms and common area with fire pits to grab a wine + pizza in the evening and/or breakfast in the morning. The lobby also sells bottles of wine to hang out with.

Very clean . No carpets so if pet guest have accident it can be sanitized easily between guests. Modern with awesome electric shades - blockout and sheer. Nice patio with gas fire pits and blankets. Delicious pizza. And offerings of salad etc Will be back!!! Thank you.
