This hotel is definitely older but I found it so charming! Truly enjoyed my stay. The hotel is short walking distance to all shops and restaurants ( within 10 minutes), walking to beach 15 minutes, room has coffee maker, couple of wine glasses in case you want to enjoy wine that you purchase, a mini fridge. Staff was so kind, grounds were clean, I didn’t go to the continental breakfast offered but it looked good. I loved my stay, will return in the future, highly recommend

We had a wonderful stay at Hofsas House in Carmel with my mom, sister, and our Frenchie. Check in was quick and easy, and the staff was incredibly sweet, welcoming, and helpful. Our room was spacious, very clean, and even included a convenient small kitchen. The complimentary breakfast was a lovely touch, and the staff thoughtfully provided fans to keep us comfortable on a warm day. Parking was easy and free along the street. We truly appreciated how welcoming and accommodating the hotel was. It was the perfect place for our girls’ getaway!

downtown Carmel and the beach were within walking distance. Easy to find, and convenient location if you needed to drive. Breakfast wasn"t much. We found a market a few blocks away to help supplement the breakfast.

The Staff were extraordinary, helpful, cheerful and accommodating! The Room was spacious, fireplace is fun, balcony is very nice view was wonderful! The outlets need to be changed out because they are too loose to hold a plug. The toilet needs work or changing out. The carpet definitely needs replacing. The caulking and grout in front of and around the tub needs to be bleached. The bed, towels and linen were nice. It was wonderful to have the coffee and delicious sweet rolls ready in the morning. The location is absolutely perfect to enjoy the entire Carmel downtown. We had a very nice stay!

Great location. Property is closed to everything. We checked in and we asked for a place to have dinner. The gentlemen at the front desk gave us a few choices and suggested happy hour at ______. We parked our car and we walked to the restaurant. Cocktails on the roof top and dinner in the dining room. Food was excellent, highly recommend the Cioppino. Our room was clean and inviting for a restful night. Bed was comfortable and bathroom shower was spacious and clean. It even had a small refrigerator, and a coffee machine in the room, which we used. We also enjoyed continental breakfast in the lobby, or bring to your room. Great place.
