LOCATION: The Palm by Roami is conveniently located directly across the street from Fort Lauderdale’s pristine beaches. This newly renovated tropical paradise boasts a contemporary design and a resort style pool surrounded by palm trees. You will experience the best Fort Lauderdale has to offer from world class dining to fine shopping and entertaining nightlife, all within walking distance.

The Space:
CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT: Check-in is any time after 4PM and check-out is any time before 11AM. An early check-in or late check-out time may be available, please inquire about pricing at the time of booking.

ROOM ASSIGNMENT: We furnish all of our properties to a uniform standard, but individual units may differ slightly from the pictures shown. Exact unit is assigned at check-in. Views and square footage may vary slightly.

BEDROOM: This property sleeps 2 guests in 1 bed and 2 guests on a sofa bed. This unit has a smart TV in the living room and the bedroom. See the bed count below.

- Common Area: 1 Queen sofa bed (Sleeps 2)* Additional beds cannot be provided.

BATHROOM: The bathroom is stocked with toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, and body wash), plush towels and washcloths, and a hair dryer.

KITCHEN & DINING: The kitchen is fully stocked (200-piece culinary set) and has a full line of new appliances (blender and drip coffee maker included). The dining area has seating for 4, along with all the necessary dinnerware, and more.

AMENITIES: This property has a communal laundry and a heated outdoor pool.

LAUNDRY INSTRUCTIONS:
The laundry room is not in the unit, it is located at the rear of the building on the opposite side of the parking garage. Laundry machines are now free and ready to use for our guests.

FREE PARKING: The parking area is located on the right and left sides in front of the building. Guests can park anywhere and we provide one parking space for each reservation.

TRASH DISPOSAL:
The dumpster is located on the front right side of the building.

WHAT’S INCLUDED?: Iron and ironing board, washer/dryer, free WiFi (Up to a max 75 Mbps) and Smart TVs for your streaming apps like Netflix. Stair gates provided upon availability.

AREA: The approximate unit size is 700 square feet.

Guest Access:
Guests have exclusive use of the entire property.

Getting Around:
We recommend guests use Lyft and Uber.

Other Things to Note:
Guests are emailed visual check-in instructions and unique door code 24 hours before check-in. Please check your spam/junk/promotion folders or contact us if you did not receive them by your day of check-in.

Surveillance Camera: For guest and property protection, A/V surveillance is present at the entrances and exits. No surveillance is located inside the property.

We believe in personal space. Prior to your arrival, your unit will be professionally cleaned and your self guided check in process ensures easy arrival with no long lines. Nice place
Overall, the apartment was nice. Clean, A/C worked well (we’ve had some not so great in FL), pool was nice, and the neighborhood seemed clean and safe. But it wasn’t really in walking distance of shops or restaurants. The beach wasn’t far but grocery, restaurants, etc. requires us to drive too. Prefer a walkable distance to some amenities and this place didn’t cover that for us. We had a rental car which helped but would have liked to not use the gas if could be helped.

Terrific location for beach trip
Most important for us was proximity to the beach, and this location was perfect - 1 short block & a crosswalk. Easy to get back and forth, and the neighborhood is quiet. The unit is spacious and has all the essentials. King bed was comfortable, foldout couch fine. Kitchen and shower are remodeled and nice - beautifully stocked with pots, pans, plates, glassware, utensils, etc. I've rented units in the past that had none of this - really appreciated! Note for future renters: Most VRBO rentals I've experienced are someone's home. This is not. This is similar to renting a basic hotel room/condo. No frills, functional, with a great location. Similarly, especially with the huge windows, there's very little in the way of sound insulation. No different than a hotel. Wifi was fine for working, which was also appreciated. We were disappointed that the pool was under repair during our entire visit. We would have enjoyed it. We appreciated the instructions & easy access for checking in, out, plus great communication with quick answers to questions prior to and during our stay. Overall, we will definitely stay again when we plan to vacation in Ft. Lauderdale. Many thanks to the Roami team!

Fabulous
I live in Ft. Lauderdale but had to vacate my Condo for a week… with my little dog and a newly arrived guest(old friend)! Sextant could not have made it easier! I had to work remotely that week. My only complaint would be WiFi connectivity for my computer. It was not good. I just used my phone as a Hotspot. All fairness, I never complained because everything else was Great! Very clean, everything provided (including shampoo and conditioner!) You could pretty much unpack and be set. Beach was across the street. I even left some things behind. Sextant was great. Made sure it wasn’t thrown out and made arrangements for me to pick up. I am not getting a discount or paid for my review. I’m just that happy with my stay and their services!

Our stay was amazing. Very clean property and relaxing. Could have used a few more beach chairs around the pool. Also price per night changed from my initial confirmation email to what I paid. I emailed host and VRBO but never got the issue resolved. We had a great time!

Very quiet, near the beach
The place is exactly as described. Short walking distance from the beach. Very quiet surroundings. Restaurants and grocery stores are not a walking distance you need a car to get those services or take Uber services.
