"Wry nice property and location but service is terrible, AC did not wrk throughout the whole stay and weather was in the 80’s. There was no one to solve it. Rooms had no blinds, so it was really hard to sleep with the street light coming in at ningun and the sun in the morning. Everybody at the property ..."

"Spacious & clean room with huge & comfortable beds. Carpets, heater and curtains seem like they need a refresh with a lot of ingrained grime around the heating unit. Generally not as modern inside as it appears on the outside. Good walkable area close to shops, GWU and 15 minutes fro Georgetown or ..."

"Staff was not initially helpful regarding room door handles which cannot easily be opened by elderly hands. Eventually, they provided an attachment for the handle which was partially helpful. No grab bars at bathtubs for either. So - not very friendly for anyone with even minor mobility or strength ..."

"Lighting in the bathroom was not good. And there should be a pocket door closing off the sink area from the room. It was fine, but for $450 plus per night, could have been just those items better....."

"The bathroom was fabulous - great shower with innovative design (faucet on opposite wall from showerhead - very smart). Super close to JFK Performing Arts Center & Watergate Hotel. Hated the unuseable lights by the bed - no shade on blinding clear glass lightbulbs & freezing cold room. They offered heaters to combat air conditioning that they said could not be adjusted or turned off - very bad - when the heat is on it may not be able to breathe in the rooms. They also do not accept cash at all which is very inconvenient. Their parking may be unreliable - when we arrived they told us they had no valet parking left - parking was a big part of why we chose this hotel - with our insistence, they di find us a spot (we have a small car) but if they hadn't it would have been a BIG problem in this part of D.C. They should make sure they have parking for every guest or not promise it."

"The staff were incredibly kind and friendly. Which seems strange to say because I guess that stuff is to be expected, but it really isn't these days. The room was nice. We appreciated that a little after we checked in, the front desk called up to make sure we didn't need anything else in the room. Definitely recommend. "
