We had a wonderful stay here. The only think that annoyed me that should be mentioned when booking is that parking is NOT provided at the hotel. Overnight parking costs $55 per night. Pretty high prices for the amount you’re already paying to stay at the hotel.

There are several good things to say about this hotel; Pluses: Safe neighborhood, several restaurants and eateries around the hotel, big room (400 Sq ft) Negatives: only one elevator was working during 7 day stay, cleaning service is subpar, very small exercise room, 3 steps to get to elevator (and carry your luggage) in entrance

My wife & I enjoyed our stay! There were serval food options. The staff offered complimentary water every time we left. The only complaint I have would be that the rooms are very warm. We stayed for one night- They get cool of course but with it being so hot outside adjusting the temperature didn’t make much of a difference.

Hotel Madera is a great little gem of a hotel near DuPont Circle. Our room was a suite so had a bit extra room for us 3. The rooms and restaurant are totally renovated. Gym/fitness center is small but well stocked. Staff are friendly and helpful.

The hotel room was hot and never really got to a cool temp. The hallways were like a sauna, they were never cool except for the lobby area. Staff was friendly however not very helpful. I was overcharged for parking. Overall was not impressed by this hotel and will not stay there again.

I’m not sure where all the 5 star reviews are coming from. This hotel is horrible! Nothing was as advertised and it was HOT AS HELL. I would NEVER stay here again. Terrible service. Terrible “food” (NO FOOD).
