We could have left bags at the office if not, and we actually did this on the check out day at 10am and stayed in Florence until 3pm. The property itself is in a corridor in a shared access building about 10mins walk from all the sights. It was exactly as described, and photographed. The bed is a little firm but was clean and comfortable enough. Bathroom was fine, with hairdryer and toiletries supplied. The kitchen crockery and pots could do with updating or a real good refresh, some are a bit tired or worn. But we really didnt use them much, just breakfast bowls, cups and glasses. We didnt need the spare bedding which is for the sofa-bed, but noticed it was stained and needed washing. We pointed this out to the cleaner and the office staff when we left, so hopefully anyone that did need it would find it acceptable. The service through Keys of Italy is really really great. They are extremely responsive and their team is very friendly and helpful. They were accommodating with late check in, and we didn’t mind the office to pick up the keys being about a 15 minute walk from the apartment. The Keys of Italy team even followed up with us the morning after check in to ensure we were enjoying the apartment, which we thought was very nice! The apartment was as pictured, which was lovely. The bathroom is nice and the shower is large compared to others we experienced in Italy. It is tastefully decorated and spacious. The only issue we had was that the cleaners didn’t do a great job prior to us checking in, so there were some areas that were a bit dusty or dirty on the floor. Given the great level of service from the Keys of Italy staff, we are guessing that this isn’t a normal occurrence for apartments managed by this company, and we would consider renting from this company if we were in Florence again. The picking up keys at a different place was a bit weird but was super easy, but a bit difficult with tons of bags near the train station.
