Florence was one of our favourite cities in Italy. The food is very tasty. We loved the florentine steak as well as the pastas. The architecture is fantastic and the shopping is to die for, especially the leather.
Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore and Uffizi Gallery are just a few worthwhile attractions to visit in Duomo. Travelers also love the fascinating museums, stunning cathedral, and popular shops.
Enjoy the popular shops in Santa Maria Novella. Historic Center - Downtown is a worthwhile stop, and you can jump on the metro at Porta al Prato - Leopolda Tram Stop or Fratelli Rosselli Tram Stop to see more of Porta al Prato.
South of the River Arno, this quarter boasts part of Florence's historic center, featuring notable sites like Santo Spirito di Firenze, Palazzo Pitti, Belvedere, and Piazzale Michelangelo.
Travelers come to Santa Croce for its interesting museums, and you can see top attractions like Historic Center - Downtown and Basilica of Santa Croce while you're in town.
Visitors to San Lorenzo love its popular shops, and you can check out Historic Center - Downtown and San Marco Convent and Museum. If you want to see more in the area, you can get around town on the metro at Strozzi - Fallaci Tram Stop.
