We absolutely loved this hotel. It has some sort of a very good vibe and a cute character to it. The cleanliness was amazing. The staff are very friendly. They served breakfast every day, which was very good. The location of the hotel is also very good, it was only five minutes from the train station and about 10 minutes. Walk from the town center. I highly recommend it and if you go back to Florence, we will stay at the same spot.

Staff were very helpful. Breakfast was exceptional. Cookies out in the afternoon. Fresh, cold water available in the reception area. Very nice room with good amenities. Very pleased with the experiece. Ten min walk to the main sites in - Duomo, Baptistry, plenty of shops and sight seeing spots within 20 minutes or less. Only minutes from the rail station.

Lovely stay at the hotel Alba. Rooms were very spacious and the beds were comfortable. Hotel is located roughly 5 minutes from train station, which is very convenient. It is also no more than maybe 20 minutes to most attractions (by foot). Breakfast in the morning was tasty and all the staff were very friendly. Would definitely stay again!

Room felt a little dated. The biggest issue was that there was a bad odour coming from the bathroom after a day or so. We reported it to the front desk and they were accommodating and let us switch to a different room. The room was however smaller than what we had booked and the smell persisted in that room also. After a few days the odor went away so we assume it was some plumbing issue in the hotel. Smell was bad enough that we stayed out of our room as much as possible on those days. Another issue was that the bathroom was on the smaller side and the shower stall was tiny. Even for a smaller person, it would be hard to move around when taking a shower. On the positive side, room was clean and the breakfast options were great. Location is a 5-10 minute walk from the Florence railway station on a flat road and very close to Santa Maria Novella with lot of dining options. The area around the station that you have to pass through appears a bit rough but we had no issues walking around late in the evening.
