It was a very short commute to the college and close to lots of great restaurants and grocery stores. The suite was very quiet, so very perfect for reading and studying! "The area is very quiet and calm. Definitely great for a break from the loud city environment. The decor of the place is great, original, and very cozy. The only thing is that there were not many dining options within a walkable distance but the bus stop is a couple of meters away from the house. Overall, a great option that I would definitely recommend. "

Our fishing charter was able to pick us up right from the dock too! Found lots of great hikes just a short drive away. A great home base for exploring the west side of the island!"

"We stayed at the west wing which has not been renovated yet. But, the room was very clean and charming (not as outdated as others wrote in their reviews). I was pleasantly surprised to see that each room had a balcony with city or bay view. The staff were very polite and professional and the restaurant served delicious entrees. We will definitely come back to this hotel again. "
