"Decent hotel in a convenient part of town. "

"The hotel is unique in decor. It is older, but very clean and antique decor. I loved it. We were pleasantly surprised to get a larger room. Very close to Central Park and Museum across the street. Also subway is close. We walked to the theatre district for a play. I was so happy to find that cleaning staff found my wallet. I had left it in the safe and staff had given it to the office. "My wife and I love the older "grand" hotels, and the Lucerne fit the bill. Nice room with very comfortable beds, and four pillows per bed. Great restaurant and bar, and it was a short walk to Central Park after dinner. Close to the Museum of Natural History, and a fifteen minute stroll to Lincoln Center."

"We really enjoyed staying at the WC Lipe Mansion - very comfortable for us. The mansion is beautifully maintained, and the breakfasts were unsurpassed."

"Oheka is a beautiful location. The room and staff were excellent. My criticisms are: 1) I think the food is a bit overpriced 2) At check-in, you are told there is a complimentary breakfast. This is false. There is a complimentary coffee and tea service in the morning from 7:30 to 10 am. They should not make such a misleading statement at check-in. Also, I've been to cheaper but still four-star hotels that DID offer actual complimentary breakfast. If they can, surely Oheka can."
