"It needs to be made abundantly clear— this is not a “cozy private room and bathroom” as advertised. You are renting a bedroom in someone’s residence and have access to the shared bathroom across the hall, which also meant staying in the daily mess and untidiness of the usual family home. I was awoken by the noise of the family and their young children in the night and in the morning. Anyone could have access to your key and your room with no security from within and the home is half of a duplex...

"We stayed there as a family for two nights. Everything was fine. The hosts were very friendly and responded quickly to all our queries. The only thing, in my opinion, is that a bit more attention could be paid to cleanliness. The bathroom and kitchen (especially the microwave) need a bit of a spot of a clean."
