« It needs to be made abundantly clear— this is not a “cozy private room and bathroom” as advertised. You are renting a bedroom in someone’s residence and have access to the shared bathroom across the hall, which also meant staying in the daily mess and untidiness of the usual family home. I was awoken by the noise of the family and their young children in the night and in the morning. Anyone could have access to your key and your room with no security from within and the home is half of a duplex...

« The facilities were very clean, and everything we needed, including kitchen utensils, was provided. The only downside was that we couldn't adjust the air conditioning temperature, so the room felt a little cold. Other than that, the price was very reasonable, and we had a great stay. I would definitely like to stay here again if I have the opportunity. »

« Not one to normally leave poor reviews but this place did not have a lot to find good about. On arrival I sent several photos to the owner to advise of the damage areas that we found. Con’s:Cleanliness was questionable. Stains and marks on walls, baseboards and floors. Grease and food on backsplash in kitchen. Found several ants in the house on the lower level. Many things were damaged or broken. Lights either had no working bulbs or one of three. Screen door to deck fell off. Floor vents...

« The host was very responsive however, the facility is a basement unit (not readily identified as such) with a very lively family living upstairs. They have children who are up very late even past 12 midnight and the family is up cleaning and vacuuming and moving furniture late at night. The floor is not sound insulated and it makes it almost impossible to sleep. I made a complaint after the second sleepless night and they host was responsive and it did get a bit better than the first two...
