« The host was very responsive however, the facility is a basement unit (not readily identified as such) with a very lively family living upstairs. They have children who are up very late even past 12 midnight and the family is up cleaning and vacuuming and moving furniture late at night. The floor is not sound insulated and it makes it almost impossible to sleep. I made a complaint after the second sleepless night and they host was responsive and it did get a bit better than the first two...

« It needs to be made abundantly clear— this is not a “cozy private room and bathroom” as advertised. You are renting a bedroom in someone’s residence and have access to the shared bathroom across the hall, which also meant staying in the daily mess and untidiness of the usual family home. I was awoken by the noise of the family and their young children in the night and in the morning. Anyone could have access to your key and your room with no security from within and the home is half of a duplex...

« The location of the house was good. The communication about the road construction was late, minutes before check-in. It would be nice to offer an earlier check in or later leave due to the inconvenience. The owner needs to do regular check with the cleaning crew about broken items and fix it promptly. There were many instructions to clean up the place before leaving. It’s over-priced for all the work and waiting my family did. Temperature control issue in the house, upper level very stuffy and...
