Very friendly gentleman at the front desk and easy check-in and check-out. Just wish they didn't up the prices so much during Masters golf - price was outrageous for that level of accommodation.

The bed was itchy as I’ve ever felt, maybe bed bugs or something. The staff were friendly, but the manager is a bit condescending. I’ll never stay in an Econo lodge again. I’d sooner sleep in my car than ever stay there again.

Mr MatthewWe are renting the room which you stayed in everyday, no complaint so far, The only reason you are false reviewing because we have called you about you have flooded the room with water and damaged the floor and our property stuff, we have never seen anything like that in our hotel ever.We could have charge you for that damaged 500. But we have not. Still you are reviewing false. Please be gentlemen.

Perfectly priced and located
It was a last minute trip and I needed it close to Piedmont hospital. It was spacious, great water pressure, felt like they just renovated and in great condition. Highly recommend.

Booked reservation through Expedia over a week in advance. When I got to hotel to check in, they claimed I didn’t have a reservation. I showed them my confirmation email, and still nothing. They refused to give me the room I reserved and tried to double charge me.

My overall experience here was good. The room was clean, though the floors were very scratched up. The person who checked me in was super friendly and engaging. The only downfall, and no fault to the hotel, is that it's right across from the hospital- so occasional emergency vehicles in the area with their lovely sirens.

Mr. John Thanks for staying with us. During these COVID-19 pandemic, we have accomodate you with best hospitality. You denied to maintain social distancing which is danger for our staff and other guest. You behave rude with our staff and asked to come in room. Right now most of service are not in place for public safety because of CORONAVIRUS. You have to thankful for property and our staff still they are giving service and great accommodation during pandemic. Only 2 standard size pillows on queen size beds. Had to request 2 more. No coffee maker in room or coffee available in lobby. No coffee available for breakfast as well. Gravy for biscuits appeared days old and not much left. Staff was business like.

Surprise!
What a pleasant surprise! We checked in late, clerk was friendly with quick check-in. We got our room requests honored and our room was as pictured online - swear. Clean, smelled fresh, we did not want to get out the bed and for being so close to University Hospital I only heard 2 ambulances all night. Walls thin, I can overlook the person upstairs showering and the property was super quiet even with the parking lot almost at capacity. Minor detail, I need more than 1 towel for two people but we always bring one of our own just in case. Breakfast small but it was available so we didn't have to go chasing to find Ihop.

Dear Guest, we are here to provide excellent service to all guests. After receiving your review, I forward it to all my staff. I found that you were a previous guest that took the smoke detector down. You also smoked in a nonsmoking room. That is not tolerated at this property. That is a safety issue. When you checked out with front desk, you spoke highly of hotel and your visit. We charged a fee because of violated the smoking and safety rules.

Strange people in the parking lot
We wanted to stay in the downtown area and didn't realize that there was a major event that weekend which filled all the hotel rooms. We would have been a lot more comfortable farther out. However, the price was cheap.

You get what you pay for
The staff was friendly. However the room wasn’t very clean or comfortable. The TV satellite service was out for 1 of the 3 nights we stayed. The hardwood floors were so dirty we had to wear our shoes when inside the room at all times. The floor around the tub looked like someone ripped the trim off from around it and the bathroom door handle kept falling apart upon opening the door. The final night of our stay we were awoken at 5am by the guests to our left with an incredibly loud domestic dispute and screaming for about an hour. That wasn’t uncommon as a lot of the guests hung out on the balconies or parking lot being loud all hours of the night every night as well. I definitely wouldn’t stay here again. You definitely get what you pay for in this place.

STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE(econo lodge)
To whom it my concern at a choice hotel(econo lodge) at about 7:30 pm there was a loud knock on the door with a crazed and upset voice who was with a female my son and myself was sleeping as the load and repeated banging on the door about he was going to kill and to open the door. I did not go to the door or curtain because I was too scared for the of bodily harm to me and my son I had my son go in the bathroom and I grab the phone pushed the 0 button told the office person their someone beaten on the door and threaten me . After the office guy came told my son to pack we would change room called the office told him I did not feel safe in the room he told me not to worry they have cameras I told him camera does me and my son no good he we are shot dead just from opening the door since he could be waiting outside looking at room 210 waiting for some to walk out office guy told me he is not moving us ..my son and I went down to the office and I ask again to be moved to another room because I don’t feel safe he told me no I told him then I'm not staying here he told me he is not moving use and no refunds ask him to call the police he said no I had to call on my cell phone..The sheriff from Richmond county came case 18-239074 The only thing pleasant was the sheriff who listens to both parties asked what I wanted to do told him I'm leaving I got all my stuff I would never put my family in danger ..this Econo lodge does not care ABOUT THE Safety of customers…
