Country Houses Angus CA $80

Just opened October 1/2026 Wonderful place to stay breakfast is excellent

Darci is the friendliest person I've ever met. Communication with her is very easy and clear. Her home is spotless, beds are so comfortable and my goodness breakfast in bed? Breakfast was beyond my expectations, fresh fruit, tea, coffee, beer for welcoming with glasses and regular mugs for coffee and tea, I just felt like visiting my mom. Thank you Darci and Emily!

Hotel was great for an overnight stay. Staff were pleasant at check in. Morning breakfast was a great. Nice coffee maker to make Cappuccinos, Cafe Latte's & many more. I would defiantly stay again & recommend to others.

We had an amazing experience. I travelled with two other horse-owning friends to the Pan Am Games equestrian event in Caledon, just down the road. The house is extraordinary as it has been in this family for 7 generations and the original owners grandson was the Loblaws of grocery store fame. It has been restored through much hard work by the owners and it is a joy to visit. The rooms all have personal letters, pictures, books and notes, as well as personal items such as money clips, fountain...

Check in was easy. Room very clean. Continental breakfast included. Friday rate $140 incl taxes. Sat rate $251 incl tax No happy with that difference.!!

This hotel was a great and pleasant surprise for me.

Wonderful stay for what’s always been known as a budget property. It seems to have been recently renovated so everything looks new and clean. One suggestion is to put a magnifying mirror for us short sighted people. Great to have an in-bath mat.

We recently travelled to Barrie for a medical procedure and the Barrie Fairfield was a great choice for our stay. While there are not a lot of amenities in the neighbourhood the proximity to Hwy 400 is very convenient and there are lots of restaurants a 5-10 minute drive away. The staff were exceptionally courteous and helpful and our room was super-clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

Wish I could give the staff a higher rating. Very pleasant. Quiet, clean and comfortable.

Great place to stay in barrie

Was perfect for what i needed. The staff were nice the hotel is older but they do seem to keep up on things. Room was clean and very big, bathrooms could use some love but still were functional and clean. Price was great. Overall great experience.

What an amazing stay at the Klinck House! Beautiful location and close to everything. The property is like a little piece of paradise and the room is so well maintained and spacious. We also had the opportunity to meet Monique and learn about the property and even get a tour of everything! We will definitely be back!

We booked a double room and added two people. The room is pretty big and clean, and the sofa bed is large too. We had a really nice sleep after a exhausting day skiing. We'll definitely stay here again if we get a chance.

It was affordable

Property was beautiful, it is a lot of stairs if you have a room up on the third floor however.

We stayed in room 5 it was 2 bedrooms, clean and renovated and very close to beach one.

Staff is very nice
