Wander along the picturesque canals where Golden Age mansions reflect in the water and museum treasures await inside the Rijksmuseum. Rent a bike to explore like locals do, then take a break at cozy brown cafés or venture to nearby windmills and tulip fields.
I had an amazing stay at Monet Garden Hotel Amsterdam. The service was outstanding, with a warm and attentive staff who made sure everything was perfect. The hotel is beautifully designed, offering a cozy yet modern atmosphere. The room was comfortable, with lovely canal views. The location was excellent—peaceful yet within walking distance of the city center. Overall, a fantastic experience, and I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Amsterdam!

We were very impressed with the hotel and would return on another trip. The location is perfect. An easy walk from the Central train station and is in the centre of Amsterdam city area. Staff were excellent, the on site part is award winning, and the bed was incredibly comfortable.
One note: If you have anything to speak with the hotel about before your stay, please contact them directly and not through Expedia. We were arriving early in the morning, so booked a room for the prior night. I...

Modern and comfortable with fabulous breakfasts and supper. The room was spacious and the beds so, so perfect! Though it’s not in central Amsterdam, it’s 2 tram stops from Centraal station. We’d stay there again!

The Estheria was like home away from home! Lovely staff, comfortable room (classic with canal view). Staff were fabulous! Large lounge area full bar. Places to lounge in different areas! Very close to everything about a 15 min walk from central train station! Lovely stay!

Nestled on a quiet, leafy residential street right in the heart of Amsterdam’s prestigious Museum Quarter, Jan Luyken Amsterdam is an absolute gem of a boutique hotel. From the moment you step through the entrance, it feels less like check-in at a hotel and more like being welcomed into a stylish, sophisticated private townhome.

Wonderful boutique historic hotel with spa tub and rain shower located next to all tourist amenities in Amsterdam. The bed was wonderful and the bar was a great place to end the day with a drink. The breakfast was very good and lots to choose from. Very close to Anne Frank house. Close to lots of pubs and restaurants and located right across canal. Wished we could have spent more time but only there on a stopover. Staff were very helpful and charming!

We had a wonderful stay here at Hotel Twenty Eight. It was in a great location, with lots of little shops and restaurants nearby. There is a grocery store and the number 24 tram to take you to Central Amsterdam within 20 minutes. The staff were so friendly and helpful during our stay, we really enjoyed talking with them as we came and went on our daily adventures. It was also nice that they spoke fluent English and were always willing to help by suggesting a restaurant or a tour.. it was nice to...

This property was very clean - common areas and room. Highly recommend the breakfast buffet - it was exceptional. The hotel is located in a quiet residential area with several pubs and restaurants a very short walk away. Best bonus - proximity to the metro. We purchased a 3 days unlimited metro pass and loved how convenient it was to go to the city centre for our various tours/activities - it was a piece of cake to get around. There are a couple of parkettes behind the hotel to sit by a canal...
