"A hidden gem!"
I think we've found the perfect hotel! The staff were so welcoming and as other reviewers have said it felt more like staying in Amsterdam with friends and not a hotel. The accommodation was impeccably presented and the room bigger than we had expected. We chose Museum Suites for the location and it was absolutely spot on. Vondelpark and the surrounding area is great for a quiet stroll and a bite to eat and the city centre is only a short tram ride away. We bought our tram tickets from the hotel and even if you are a public transport novice you can’t go wrong. Museum Suites is one of those hotels where you know you’ve booked a city break with the idea of getting out and about and exploring the wonders on offer but you feel like you could relax in your room all day as it’s so homely. We don’t often go back to places we’ve been before but I think we’ll be making an exception for Museum Suites and Amsterdam – it was the perfect short city break.

"Great location"
From the minute we walked into the hotel, the welcome by the reception staff was great. The hotel has been fully refurbished and is extremely modest from the street. The location is brilliant as it's just off the busy streets yet 5 minutes walk to superb shops and the attractions of Amsterdam. I highly recommend this hotel and would certainly return.

"Nice hotel with good transport links "
Spent 5 nights here and upgraded to the lovely apartment room. Hotel staff helpful and speak perfect English. Cleaning staff was very good. Lots of interesting art work around the place. Apartment was beautiful - 1 bed, 1 bath and a lovely lounge with a large TV Transport links to centraal - very easy to catch the bus and takes 10 mins or so. Restaurants and supermarket 10 min walk away which was very handy. Only issue: massive construction work ongoing outside the hotel which meant there was lots of mud and sand outside the entrance.

"Excellent stay with family of 5"
Two joining rooms for family of 5 gave us enough space to hava a good night. Seen the age of our children the two big beds and two small ones did not work out in terms of deciding who would sleep where. Hotel is ideally located close to Amsterdam airport and shuttle offers option to leave the car at the hotel. One of the better breakfast offerings and super friendly staff. Highly recommended

"Excellent location"
This hotel is in great location. We walked everywhere from here. Restaurants and snack bars are in abundance within. 2 streets. The service from the staff was wonderful. Nothing seemed to much trouble. The room was a good size, we didn't feel we were in shoe box sized room. Fab bathroom with a heated floor. With the room bring on the front of the building if you opened the windows then it was noisy. We dined in senses the first night and were unprepared for the style of the restaurant. You only chose the number of courses then the food is brought to you. The food decorates the plate but it was incredible, although not cheap. 3 courses and a bottle of wine for two was €10.

My cousin and I had a really nice stay. We started out in a room that was very, very small and kind of dark, as I believe they thought there was only going to be one person staying in the room (even though the reservation said 2, with 2 single beds), and that we were getting 2 single rooms. We had trouble moving around within the space, so we spoke to the very helpful person at the front desk, and she moved us to a much more comfortable room. The hotel is really cool, with a lot of space to explore. The bar and restaurant downstairs are nice for relaxing and catching up with people, but the service was a bit slow. The hotel is located near a tram stop, so getting around the city was easy. All in all, I really enjoyed my too-short visit!

"Convenient apartment near downtown Amsterdam "
This is a very tidy and comfortable apartment near the city core where some major attractions such as NEMO Science Centre, Dam, Madame Tussauds, Oude Kerk, Central Station are all within walking distance. We picked up the keys from a friendly fellow named Matthias who gave us a tour of the apartment. There was a manual that explain how to use the appliances but unfortunately the words on the appliances are in Dutch so it was a challenge to use the washing machine and the dryer. If you are from Canada or the US, you need to bring a transformer in order to use some electronic devices such as the curling iron or charge your phone. Because there was no utensils and not enough toilet papers and hand soaps (since we stayed for 5 days), we ended up buying those in the nearby supermarket and drug stores. The apartment has two huge TVs and free Wifi and it is a quiet neighbourhood. You can see beautiful sunsets in the balcony, very romantic. By the way, you must bring an umbrella with you at all time because the sun and rain can come and go. Overall, this is a very comfortable and modern apartment for a family of four.
