"DoubleTree ticked all the boxes - cleanliness, comfort, quality. The standout was the customer service which was very friendly (especially the person who serviced our rooms who was always friendly and helpful). Minor downside was that it's not exactly close to any key locations, but the bonus was that we got to know Angel Islington which is a bit of hidden gem (recommend a walk along the canal and the German bakery). We we were able to access all the usual tourist hot spots by bus or train (both available within 5 minutes walk. All in all, very happy with our stay (and we tend to be a bit not picky 😁)"
"Truly fantastic, great central location but on a quiet and safe side road. The room was lovely, very clean and well decorated. We had one of the lower ground rooms with no window - but it totally didn’t feel like it as it was well lit and very comfortable.
The staff were lovely and welcoming and the breakfast was really good too. Would certainly recommend"
"We came to London to see a couple of shows and stayed just one night. For London the price was low so we were really surprised at the quality and the standard of service. Everything was spotlessly clean, the room was great and all the staff were so polite and helpful. We were able to leave our bags on both days very easily which was a great help. We had a drink in the bar and coffee and pastry in the coffee shop - both were good. We will certainly stay here again!"
