"Stunningly beautiful property with unbelievable vistas from the dining room and pool (amazing). The staff were attentive, helpful, and cheerful and the food was excellent (some of the best we had in all of Italy). They offer free shuttle rides to the city with the last shuttle returning at 6:30 PM. We felt pampered and would actually have preferred to have stayed and spent more time at the hotel rather than running around Florence. Great place to relax and decompress."

Restaurant for breakfast and dinner, amenities and staff was excellent. Very clean including the pool area. Only issue was that the gym didn’t open until 9am.

We only spent one night at Hotel Villa Betania and we were pleased with our time spent at the hotel. We had a short time to spend touring Florence and the front desk provided an excellent map with walk times, bus route numbers, and taxi cost information to help us choose how we would visit the city. Very helpful. The hotel is located in a quiet area. We are fast walkers and made it into the city tourist areas in around 20 minutes. Beds were good and the rooms were quiet - two important things...

The front desk & kitchen staff were able to provide me with a breakfast for the road, as two of my tours started very early. Their efforts made my mornings run very smoothly.
If you don't mind walking a little bit, the hotel has a great location. 15 minutes to the train station, 12 to the bus station (where tours leave from). 15 or so to Galleria d'Academia and 25 to the Duomo.
The one thing...very tiny...there was no easily accessible outlet in my room.

We had an excellent time staying at this authentic Italian Villa and hotel. The hotel is located on top of a hill, so a picturesque view of Florence is what you see when having breakfast or dining on the terrace. Food was great. Breakfast buffet or a la carte, both were really good. Staff were quite friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean.
The hotel itself is so quiet and tranquil. At night, there is absolute silence and the sound of crickets is all you can hear if you take a walk or leave...
