"Convenient location to get anywhere via subway. Fitness center was large with plenty of options. Market in the lobby was great and the coffee is very good. Front desk staff were polite and kind. Would stay again."

"Staff was friendly, welcoming, restaurant bar was great. Rooftop bar hasn’t opened yet, but loved the vibe back when it was called the Rare bar and Rooftop. Two bedroom apt was clean, A/C didn’t work in front living space. Maintenance rigged it, but temp/fan couldn’t be changed, so area was chilly but bearable. Daily housekeeping was a plus, even with our late exits from the room."

"The staff were all very efficient and pleasant. Check in, check out were fast and simple. The room was ready when promised, the AC worked well and did not get turned off by the housekeeping staff (I hate that) and the room was cleaned well and in a timely manner each am. "I’ve stayed at this hotel a few times,but I noticed it’s starting to get a little shabby. The common areas are beautiful. The hotel dining is delicious and also very beautiful. However, the rooms are pretty plain and there’s a lot of wear and tear. Hotel spa was very nice and I really enjoyed it. It was one of the highlights of the hotel."

"I had originally booked a hotel uptown for my Manhattan weekend getaway but changed to AKA Nomad a few days before my visit to better suit my Sunday morning plans. I did notice some bad reviews on both Google and Expedia so I was mildly trepidatious but moved forward with my reservation. However, my stay here has been great! I booked a balcony room.
