Location of the hotel is very convenient. 5 minute walk from Grand Central. Although the area is very busy, the hotel is on the quiet side, so you don't get much noise.

Even is a boutique hotel. The room was nice and clean but small, unsurprising for NY! The staff was courteous, and we got an early check-in. I had oatmeal with fruits for breakfast at their small restaurant and was not impressed. The hotel is located close to the metro and within walking distance of many tourist attractions.

This is a very good hotel. We were there for a family vacation and our stay turned out to be very comfortable. The only issue we had is one of the cafeteria staff was rude. Overall service and food quality was good though.

The room and property were clean, and easy to navigate. However, the air conditioning went out and the fan stopped blowing too. The first night it was still working, but barely. We tried turning it down the 2nd night but woke up dripping sweat repeatedly. I left a message the 2nd morning about the issue, but it went unanswered. I had hoped they might resolve it by the time we returned to the room that evening. I called the front desk that evening, and was told they'd send someone to see about it/hopefully resolve it. No luck, though. The next morning, as we were checking out, Ilet the front desk agent know... she apologized and mentioned that there hadn't been an engineer on staff the night before. I'm disappointed that I was told the night before, that someone would be working the problem... to find out that they actually didn't have anyone. Why be dishonest?! It was hot hot hot all weekend while we trekked around the city; we desperately wanted cool air during the evening as some relief. Will not recommend this property.
