Unfortunately, this property did not live up to the previous ratings, nor to the image portrayed in the listing.I assume most stays tend to be for only a night or two, which, if that's what you intend, this place would likely be passable and that's why the reviews have been decent. The area is pretty and quiet and all the flaws with the place likely won't affect you too much over a short period of time.That being said, if you are staying for a longer period of time, or you just prefer to get something of quality for your money, this rental is likely not for you. To enumerate a few of the things we noticed: There was a pile of trash left beside the front deck from previous renters just a few feet from the patio seating, many light bulbs did not work, there was orange scum in the fridge's ice dispenser, the outdoor activities provided were mostly broken, the propane tank for the grill was empty, and handles were falling off of things. The most egregious thing, in my eyes, is that the listing advertises a dishwasher as an amenity, however the unit in this place is disgustingly filthy, does not function, and clearly has not functioned for quite some time. The host acknowledged they were aware of it, and that was all. To make things worse, even knowing the advertised dishwasher does not work, there is no dish rack, and only three beaten up old kitchen towelettes to use.If you can't overlook a million small flaws in a place, look somewhere else.

#### Relaxing birthday getaway

Wonderful cabin. Well kept/clean, everything we needed for a 3 night stay. Secluded, perfect place to stay with our very vocal miniature schnauzer. There was nobody around for him to annoy with his barks of excitement! Saw lots of deer including a mama and her twins and one turkey. Enjoyed popcorn and listening to the records. Extremely comfortable bed. Porch was perfect for playing games in the rain and having morning coffee and grilling out. My only complaint was i was expecting a bottle of local wine to be waiting for us and there wasnt any wine. Maybe a small oversight on the hosts part or maybe I misread that on the listing, either way, nothing that would stop me from staying again.

Canceled on me with less than 24 hours notice after a confirmation email from vrbo and a confirmation email from the host with home access info. Got a refund but lazy business response to overbooking.

#### Fun secluded get away

Great place to get away. It had all the amenities. We even saw deer when we first arrived. Host was always attentive to needs. The place was very clean, but the only drawback was a heavy smoke smell we got used to after being there a day in our 3 day stay.

Had a great stay. Peaceful and quiet. Tucked away near a cornfield and the woods. Got to see some deer and turkey. Hoping to stay there again during our next visit with family.

#### Terrific long weekend

Terrific place, very nice atmosphere and decor. Comfortable and welcoming throughout. We enjoyed seeing the deer in the morning and evening and the different birds than we have at home. My husband enjoyed cooking on the large grill each night. The wine from the local winery was terrific. We had a great time and would definitely consider returning.

#### Relaxing Retreat

While we only stayed at the property for one night, we enjoyed all that this location had to offer. It was in a really relaxing and quiet part of the country side and the outdoor games and indoor amenities made it a fun spot for my husband and I to enjoy. We had a little snafu with a later check-in and not working stove/oven but the host was quick to remedy the situation with a later check-out and partial refund. He was also very quick to respond with any additional questions or concerns that we had. I would definitely stay again!
