2/5 Poor

First the good:
The hotel looks great. It's clean, nice staff and there is a nice café off the lobby that makes a great Cappuccino. Covid wise they are doing everything right.
The room:
Decor is kind of loft-ish -- exposed concrete, a plywood counter running down one wall etc. Nice look.
The bed was horrible. It was like someone wrapped sheets around a block of concrete. Thin overly firm mattress on a plywood platform with a chrome foot board . It was painful just to sit on.. There was a single chair in the room, a hard plastic chair with no padding. It was more comfortable than the bed.
The bathroom looked nice, but the tub/shower was raised off the floor-- it's really high off the ground. I'm pretty tall and it was awkward getting in and out of the shower.
There were no blankets, I had to call down for them. No cups in the room, either -- but at least the staff brought both up pretty quickly. No washcloths either. Housekeeping didn't visit the entire time I was there (I had to call down for more towels) but I assume this is due to covid -- I don't blame them at all.
Some of the weirdness is I'm sure due to precautions and I don't fault them for that but the bed is the worst hotel bed I've ever had to deal with and that shower is flat out dangerous. No traction and the awkward climb into it is a lawsuit waiting to happen. At least there was a grab rail.
