"My family has been doing annual lake family vacations traditionally for many years. We had a wonderful stay at this cabin with many activities to keep our group amply entertained. The cabin was beautifully appointed and mostly well equipped. I do think at this price point it would have been nice to have linens, towels and life preservers for the boat included, but overall, we had a memorable time together and made some wonderful memories as a family. Having ample firewood was definitely a bonus for our evening campfires which, even in the summer heat, we gathered around each night. The family enjoyed the scavenger hunts that the owners left for their guests and it added a nice touch to our stay. We were a group that ranged in age from 11 to 78 years old. Everyone took something positive away from our stay here and we left feeling very grateful for having had the experience together. Thank you for sharing your lovely homestead. "

"My sister and I stayed 3 nights at Northern Family Motel. The motel room was on the small side, but had a queen bed which was very comfortable. The owners were friendly and pleasant to deal with. We would stay there again as it was convenient to what we needed to do in the area. However, the AC unit was quite noisy, so we used the fan option which was much quieter. All in all a pleasant stay."

Whether you're cozying up by the outdoor fire pit or gazing at the stars (or even meteors!) under the dark sky, it's the perfect place to relax and unwind. "The staff were very friendly. The room was beautiful,spacious, and clean. Housekeeping did a great job cleaning our room . My husband loved the pool. Very refreshing. The breakfast was great especially the pancakes."

"Lovely cabin with everything you could possibly need -- well stocked. On acres with trails mowed and maintained. Very lovely. A few minutes from Malone if you want to visit the Almanzo Wilder Homestead. Would definitely book again."
