It's tempting just to stay-put and absorb the quietude. There is no restaurant on the premises, so I brought my food and was provided a toaster and an ice chest. Lots of hiking locations nearby. "

Everything in the house is high functioning and the view to the river is beautiful. It’s a long windy drive up and down to the house but it’s worth it. "This is an above and beyond home. Every detail is meticulous, not ostentatious but lovely, warm and inviting. The bed was the most comfortable ever, the kitchen was insanely equipped with everything you could possibly imagine, the grounds were immaculate, the hot tub was wonderful and it was one big playground for kids to explore and revel in! And the hosts could not have been nicer and more communicative and accommodating! This is definitely a place I want to come back to again and again! I can't say enough god things! I just wish there were enough beds to come back with friends because it's so spacious (I understand that's a Carmel thing, not the host choice.)"
